Episode 1: 2001–2011 The Beginning
Just two years later, in 2003, a new milestone was reached: TUNISHIP secured the representation of CSCL (now COSCO), expanding its network and solidifying its place among the leading maritime players.
It all began in 2001, in a small office driven by a big ambition: to introduce Tunisia to the global maritime world.
That year, TUNISHIP dropped anchor with a clear mission: to represent the shipowner MEDEX, and soon after, MSC, marking its first steps into international maritime transport.
As every adventure leads to new horizons, 2004 marked a phase of expansion.
With the approval of the bulk carrier owner Adriatic, TUNISHIP extended its presence to Sfax, opening its first regional office, laying the foundations for nationwide development.
It was the start of an epic journey driven by challenge, passion, and vision, where every collaboration and achievement helped shape the identity of a company now firmly anchored in Tunisia’s maritime landscape.
In 2008, TUNISHIP earned its first ISO 9001 certification, recognizing its commitment to operational excellence and compliance with international standards.
By 2010, the company reached another turning point, expanding its range of services with the creation of Road and Air divisions, marking its entry into multimodal logistics.
This strategic evolution aimed to offer clients fully integrated and perfectly coordinated land, air, and sea solutions.
Through this diversification, TUNISHIP strengthened its position as a global logistics provider, capable of supporting its partners at every stage of the transportation chain.
